I know what you're thinking - "it's just breathing", right?
We breathe over 20,000 times every single day, yet we underestimate the power of the breath as our most accessible tool to influence our physical, mental and emotional state.
Whether it is focusing the mind for a big meeting, or finding calm in a moment of overwhelm, the breath can help shift your state and empower you and your team.
Learning to work with the breath is an essential, simple tool that should be utilised by all.
There are many physical and mental health benefits evidenced in the nature connection research. Theories propose that nature has a restorative effect on us, providing physiological relaxation and immune system recovery. Green and blue spaces allow our nervous system to move from ‘fight or flight’ mode to ‘rest and digest’.
If you think about it – we have lived in green and blue spaces for much of human existence, it is where we have evolved to live in nature and so it makes sense that our bodies feel more relaxed and less stressed in nature.
